Is that somebody at the end of the line????
It has taken one or two of us a while to catch up with the technology that is available in the city area's, but i'm definately awake now!
Will try to get a couple more of our welsh members registered on the forum - but don't hold your breath. It took me more than 2 years to get on the forum myself!!!

I never meant to imply that St Helens was a bad place, just that Manchester is better. Razz

There are some wonderful people in St Helens, too many in fact to name. (tries desperately to dig himself out of hole)

There's nothing wrong with a little local loyalty is there...

- You need to realise, that you don't alway's need alcohol in your blood stream to enjoy yourself. On occaisions, it's nice to have a glass (or four!), but it's really nice just being able to socialise with your buddies from time to time. After-all, we do have to trust and support one another during the invests - it would be good to know a little bit more about one another outside of the paranormal too!!!

Well, I for one would love to come to the socials, but, unfortunately i don't drive, I work early on Saturday mornings, so does Mike (he has to work some Sundays too), and most of the do's are in Manchester, which makes it almost impossible for me to get home, if Mikes working. We'd be up for days out tho (given enough notice), ten pin bowling, paintballing, go carting etc. Very Happy

I was at the first Xmas social in Manchester. Which was midweek, and I was driving and had work early the next day.

I work 'odd' shifts too and do plenty of on-calls (sometimes 72 hour stretches), but I still know how to enjoy myself!
You'd better slow down and start enjoying yourself Steve, otherwise we'll be coming to your place of work for your 'spirit' to come and haunt us (if you see what i mean!!!) Life (as we know it) is too short as it is mate.

I've done it for 15 years and don't think things will be changing any time soon. I can count on one hand how many drinks I have in a year - a night out usually ends with me driving anyway. Its not me you would be investigating at my work - there is plenty there to investigate already. Maybe one extra following the death yesterday of my friend and General Manager who I have been with for all 15 years. Crying or Very sad

Were going out in manchester - it was in the night out thread in general discussion - im not sure exactly where were oing but were going for some karaoke and dancing - stu said he knows some good karaoke bars.
