Another one bites the dust. Apparently, David Wells has posted this on his official forum.
| David Wells wrote: | Hello Angels.
I thought it fitting to announce on my official forum and to all my lovely fans that the rumours of my departure from Most Haunted are in fact true. I have had the most wonderful time working with the team over the past few years but the travelling and the energy the show takes out of me was taking a toll on my health.
Sometimes in life we have to make some tough choices and this has been one of them, I will miss everyone on the show and wish Most Haunted continued success.
Moving forward I am concentrating on my writing and most exciting of all, getting out and about doing workshops and lectures throughout this country and others.
I am sure of your support and I am grateful for it.
I wish you and yours a very Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.
David x |
He's a nice bloke, and I hope that he goes on to better things. But I do think that his prolonged time with MH has done him more harm than good.
It will be interesting to see what "medium" they end up with now. _________________ The living are haunting the dead!!

Well, Gordon Smith left because of 'ill health' didn't he, I think he found out exactly what they were upto, thats why he only done a few episodes, i'm very surprised Ciaran's still there too, as they say, Money Talks.
I've got this Soap Box worn out, hopefully Father Christmas will bring me a new one |

I think it has been on the cards for a while that David Wells would be moving on, he spends most of the time out of the country anyway. As you say it will be interesting to see who they try to get next.
Will all (do bunny rabbits and say in a funny voice, "mediums", its no use I cant say it like Stu ) step forward now please. _________________

What a shame I liked David Wells, he seemed the most genuine out of the lot of them. Yes it will be interesting to see who they bring in next. _________________ yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away, now they look as if theyre here to stay, now i believe in yesterday. |

I have to say after seeing how Karl & Stuart spoke to David Wells at the Halloween live i was disgsted and to be honest was just waiting for him say he wasleaving. They had no respect for Davids advic during the investigations and at times were down right rude to him. I am fan of the show but wish they would get back to basic and Karl & Stu need to step back from the limelight and working as a duo they are giving Most Haunted a bad reputation !! _________________

Did anyone see this episode? I started watching it because it was in Stockport (I know some of you Guys are from that area, is it by where you live?) I got about 20/30 minutes in, and I could take no more. Did anyone hear the "knocking"? it sounded like someone tapping on the big mike (is it called a Boom?) anyway, that was it, i'd had enough |

shame about David Wells quitting MH but as you've said, good luck to him doing other things. Maybe he'll do a workshop at the Arthur Finlay College or some other place like that. I can't think of anyone better that I'd like to meet and learn from. _________________ What will I find when I get where I'm going? |

I think I agree with that, or he could have just been glad of all the media coverage he was getting being on the show _________________

I think he might of been glad of it to begin with, but Gordon Smith was a much tougher cookie, he saw what was going on, and got out in the nick of time, hence saving his reputation whilst doing so. |

Ciaran O'Keefe, hmmm, not very good at spotting fakery me thinks.
I definitely think its a money angle with him, afterall he has just bought himself a nice little French Chateau hasn't he since being with MH so can't be doing too bad.
I have met him and had a really good and interesting talk with him but i have to say, i question his ability to spot fraud when its under his nose.
I would love them to go somewhere that is mega haunted and scare the s**t out of them for real, Karl throws a stone and a brick comes back in reply.....or Stuart. lol _________________ Challenging you to

I see that they are inflicting a new series of Most Haunted on the general public from next week. I wonder if they have any new tricks planed now that a few more of the "cast/actors" have left, I see that Carl and Stuart are still going to be there so we can still expect the stone throwing business from them _________________

I know it gets them ratings and everything, but wouldn't you have thought they'd have thought "hold on, maybe we're doing the stone throwing a bit too much"?? Seriously, if it happened that often for real, wouldn't we get some of it? lol! |

I tape this for my mum but don't watch it myself, today she put it on and subjected me to the first few minuets. Something that Ciaran' O'Keefe said to Yvette made me laugh out loud he said...................

Hi guys, Just heard today in work that MH's ''LIVE'' Halloween haunted show for this year, will be held at the North Wales Hospital, Denbigh. Apparently, MH will be spending the weekend there filming the live show on both Friday and Saturday (31st Oct & 1st Nov).
I personally don't watch MH, but i know that there are a few sneaky ones amongst us who do!!!!

I'm one of those sneeky ones. I have never missed a show - All to our own. I'm looking forward to it. It is for 7 days in a row, so I'll be glued to the TV. Sorry, but I enjoy all paranormal shows, so you will know that I'll be having a full week with all lights off and sitting back watching every minute. _________________ Always respect other peoples opinions. |

I dont know if anyones watching "that" programme - but im at my mum and dads and my mums watching it and they have decided to do guess what.....
A ouija board in the middle of the audience - and their idea of protection - "imagine a bubble - a bright white bubble around you" - that is your protection and your link to the spirit world
how stupid can you get !! _________________ each days a gift and not a given right so live life like you'll never live it twice |

OMG!!!!!
Well they said they wanted to try out something "new", but they didn't say anything about dangerous or stupid. They never cease to amaze me with what they will do for ratings never mind the publics safety in what they are doing _________________

I heard today that Stuart Torvell supposedly was unconscious for a time in last nights program, any one know if its right or what was supposed to have happened?
I haven't not heard any more other then comments in the local garage when I called for petrol to go visit Jo, they were saying about the whole Ouija board thing in the middle of the audience being irresponsible and they are despicable in their actions to use it and put people at risk like they did. Which I totally agree with but if I had stopped and joined in the debate I would have been later visiting Jo then I was already and I would still probably be bending their ears about it. _________________

I must confess, I watched last night, and am in the process of watching tonights, anyhow what happened, re stu and Karl last night was.......Ciaron wanted them to do an experiment. He put Stu and Karl in seperate padded cells, both of them in straight jackets. Anyhow a web cam was on Karls cell but not Stu;s anyhow after about 15 mins, whilst the show was focused on Yvette and the team, the web cam picked up Karl actually getting himself out of the straightjacket. The next thing Yvette got a message, that Stu had shouted to Karl, but Karl wasnt answering , so immediatly Yvette said they must go to them, when they got there, Ciaran and Yvette went into Karl, he was slumped up against the back wall, presumably asleep, they woke him up, and he seemed dazed and confused, and didnt remember anything, even taking the jacket off, they took him out the cell, and then went to see Stu, Stu was stood opposite the door, still in the jacket, but facing the wall, Keiran went up to Stu, and his eyes were closed, Ciaran tried to move him, but it was like he was stuck on to the floor, they managed to get him onto the floor and called the paramedics, they gave him oxygen and said he was unconcious, yet if you were unconcious wouldnt you collapse on the floor? anyhow a while late, Stu came round and couldnt remember anything, Karl started trembling and was taken off again to see a paramedic, Tonight they are both fine again. Dont know whether it was real or not. _________________ yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away, now they look as if theyre here to stay, now i believe in yesterday. |

Well isn't that just it? You have answered your own question there Lin, because we know how their reputation is going we can't distinguish fact from fiction, whats real and what they are putting on for the cameras/ratings or whatever. I tape it for my mum but thats as far as it goes, I don't watch it myself as I prefer to go with our group at least I know what we are getting isn't staged scripted or for ratings, we get what we get if we get nothing we go back another time and try again. MH need something to happen everytime otherwise viewers will swich off. _________________

I watch it, like its a comedy. Sometimes its better than that. Like last night for instance. Whistling ghosts, How many time have they had a whistling ghost? Near the end of the night, they challenged the `spirits` to blow all the glass in the windows in, just before midnight. Yvette said, I dont suppose that will happen, do you Kath? reply `no`.Well it would take a large contingency of special fx team to do that. And guess what? The windows never blew, Just as well, I bet the health and safety officer was trembling in his boots. _________________ yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away, now they look as if theyre here to stay, now i believe in yesterday. |

On a more serious note tho. Wow wouldnt it be great if we could have got into that asylum ourselves. We went passed that place once (or more like 10 times), when we got lost (yes i know .... pre- Sat Nav days, not that they make any difference to us getting lost) we seemed to be going around in circles at the time, its HUGE, we did managed to find Denbigh castle tho, not that we were looking for it |

I would have looked out for the ppi jacket on tv last night if i had of known babs. I could have imagined it was pretty cold in their also, I am a cold person at the best of times and would have got bloomin freezing just sitting around there. Its like when I went to the Grand National, I was bored, as the actual race, you hardly see it, except on the big screen that they have there, so its more comfortable to sit in your own home, and dont miss any of the action. not that there is much action in MH anyhow. _________________ yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away, now they look as if theyre here to stay, now i believe in yesterday. |

We tried a few years ago to get into this place (officially) but they were having non of it, too dangerous we were told but strange how MH have got access to it, is it only dangerous when there is no TV cameras rolling i wonder?
Ah well, with a bit of luck they'll not make it out alive then we don't have to suffer anymore of "their" paranormal antix.
Oh, and talk about embelishing things for TV, there are no recorded witch trials or exectutions of any witches in Denbigh or hardly any in Wales itself so what does that tell you about making it up as they go along?
I am just so surprised that people still think that they are serious investigators and that what happens is real, anyone who has ever been on a proper investigation will know its nothing like how they portray it and its got nothing to do with it being the "right team" either, if its going to happen it'll happen to anyone but not the same old stuff to the same group EVERY BLOODY TIME!!! Its just a pity about the 15 second delay for the screen to refresh and the lack of night vision on the webcam in the main hall, still enjoyed watching tho |

Well I ain't ashamed of admitting I watch most haunted. I watch all of them
Gotta say I get a real good kick out of shouting at the telly like a lunatic. Where the **** did they find Brian Shepherd???? The man comes across as a pure muppet without the cute/cuddly factor. He's soooo melodramatic. LOL I'd rather have Ian Lawman than this guy and that's saying something _________________ What will I find when I get where I'm going? |

As you all know I'm a fan of Most Haunted and I can't help that. I'm like LG, I've watched it from the beginning. But I must admit, I'm not keen on Brian Sheppard. He speaks in riddles and never ends anything ..... I think Billy Roberts could be the next Medium as he is in the studio like many of the others started as a guest. I like Billy Roberts, so hopefully, he will become the resident medium Who knows. Still I am enjoying the show but all to our own. Would love to have had the chance of an invest there, but as you can see, the building is going to be demolished. Disgusting as it is a fantastic building left to go to ruin.....Shame on the councellors _________________ Always respect other peoples opinions. |

Well. I cant help but laugh, Brian was sent to another room, whilst the idea was to have a voodoo doll, a replica of Brian, and unknowingly to Brian (yer if you believe that you will believe anything) start putting pins in it, to try and affect Brian who supposedly didnt know anything about this experiment. Anyhow Brian started to grab his right leg in pain. But this was BEFORE they had even put pins into his leg. How laughable and fake, they need to get their watches syncronised properly if they are trying to dupe us. _________________ yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away, now they look as if theyre here to stay, now i believe in yesterday. |

I heard about the voodoo stuff from a work colleague she was laughing at all the faking involved she also said its the last time shes ever watching it.
Check out the MH forum comments on Living tv website, its about time the public woke up to what they get up to.

Ha ha walkingdude, I thought at first I was seeing things, but I have the v+ on my tv, so I can rewind, which I did, I pointed it out to my daughter and we were laughing, how bloody fake is that. _________________ yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away, now they look as if theyre here to stay, now i believe in yesterday. |

The whole MH forum on Living TV is calling them something rotten, serves them right fakers that they are.
I got told by someone at work that someone shouted in the audience that they were faking and thats why the programme went off quick last night _________________
